ABOUT US
Norwood Rail Users’ Group was set up in 2004 to campaign for improved rail services from Tulse Hill, West Norwood, and Gipsy Hill.
We want services which are more frequent, more reliable and more accessible.
Our long-term aim is for a 10-minute frequency on all the prime rail routes in our area as it is not served by the underground and as we do not feature on any new tram, rail or underground schemes.
We believe this tube-standard service would be welcome to existing passengers, help to regenerate the area and cater for future population growth.
We are backed by local politicians of all parties and have a database of around 100 supporters. There is a committee of seven people who volunteered to run the group at our launch public meeting and who meet monthly.
